DeAndre Hopkins
DeAndre Hopkins Joining forces with Lamar
Tue, Mar 11, 2025, 6:14 PM
Hopkins is in line to sign a one-year contract with the Ravens, Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports reports.
Analysis: Hopkins spent the 2024 campaign between the Titans and the eventual AFC champion Chiefs, combining for a 56-610-5 line on 80 targets in 16 regular-season games. Overall, it marked his fewest catches and receiving yards since 2021, when he was limited to 10 appearances with the Cardinals. Hopkins will turn 33 in June, and with Zay Flowers (knee) and Rashod Bateman (undisclosed) currently serving as Baltimore's top receivers and TEs Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely also on the roster, Hopkins may not be better than the fifth option in a passing game led by QB Lamar Jackson in 2025.
Patrick Ricard
Patrick Ricard Re-signs with Baltimore
Tue, Mar 11, 2025, 2:16 PM
Ricard is re-signing with the Ravens, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Ricard has been with the Ravens since 2018 and played more than 400 snaps on offense each of the past five seasons. He'll turn 31 in May and figures to reprise his role as a lead blocker in heavy formations, having never topped 11 receptions or seven carries in a season.
Mark Andrews
Mark Andrews Has support of GM
Tue, Feb 25, 2025, 11:23 AM
Ravens GM Eric DeCosta said Tuesday that he loves having Andrews on the team, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. "We'll figure out all the roster machinations in the coming weeks," DeCosta said. "But nobody is a bigger Mark Andrews fan than me."
Analysis: DeCosta also said Andrews eventually will be in the franchise's Ring of Honor, alongside the likes of Ed Reed and Ray Lewis. The GM stopped short of promising that Andrews will be with the team in 2025 -- something that came into question after his lost fumble and dropped two-point conversion in a playoff loss to the Bills. Andrews has one year remaining on his contract, with $11 million in non-guaranteed compensation consisting of a $4 million roster bonus (due on the fifth day of the league year) and a $7 million base salary. That's a bargain for the Ravens given Andrews' track record, but there are other factors to consider, namely his reduced playing time in 2024 (61.4 percent snap share), his age (30 in September), his playoff struggles (zero TD, 315 yards in eight games) and the presence of Isaiah Likely (42-477-6 receiving line in 2024) on the roster. The timing of Andrews' bonus in mid-March means it probably won't be long before it becomes clear if he's staying in Baltimore.
Keith Kirkwood
Keith Kirkwood Back with Baltimore
Wed, Feb 19, 2025, 5:44 PM
The Ravens re-signed Kirkwood on Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kirkwood spent the entire 2024 campaign on Baltimore's practice squad, though he didn't appear in a single game with the team, despite being elevated for the Ravens' AFC wild-card round win over Pittsburgh. The veteran journeyman will spend the offseason competing for an opportunity to reprise a similar reserve role in the 2025 campaign.
Charlie Kolar
Charlie Kolar Gets more opportunities in 2024
Fri, Feb 14, 2025, 10:26 PM
Kolar (arm) tallied nine catches on 11 targets for 131 yards and a touchdown while rushing once for two yards over 13 regular-season games in 2024.
Analysis: Though he played in two fewer games than the year prior, Kolar logged 14 more offensive snaps and set career-high marks in catches and receiving yards. He was also a core special-teamer for Baltimore. Kolar spent four weeks on injured reserve due to a broken forearm and suffered another arm injury during the Ravens' wild-card loss to Buffalo, though there's no indication that the latter injury will impact his availability for the start of next season. Kolar should be back with Baltimore in 2025 for the final season of his rookie contract, but it's hard to see his role growing significantly with both Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely slated to return as well.
Devontez Walker
Devontez Walker Has minor offensive role as rookie
Fri, Feb 14, 2025, 10:06 PM
Walker made one catch on three targets for a 21-yard touchdown over nine regular-season games in 2024.
Analysis: Walker was a healthy scratch until making his NFL debut Week 7 against Tampa Bay. The highlight of his campaign was a 21-yard touchdown reception against the Giants for his first NFL catch in Week 15. The vast majority of Walker's work came on special teams, as he logged 153 snaps with that unit as opposed to 55 on offense. There is room for Walker to move up in the wideout pecking order in Baltimore, and he'll look to grow as an offensive contributor next season.
Steven Sims
Steven Sims Works mostly as returner in 2024
Fri, Feb 14, 2025, 9:47 PM
Sims didn't record any catches or targets in nine regular-season games in 2024 and gained zero yards on one carry. He registered 195 kick return yards on seven returns and 122 punt return yards on 21 attempts.
Analysis: Sims spent most of the season with Houston, playing in seven regular-season contests during which he logged nine offensive snaps and 63 special-teams snaps. The veteran wideout was waived in late December and subsequently signed with Baltimore, with whom he finished out the year. Sims' only catch of the campaign - a four-yard reception - came in the Ravens' wild-card loss to Buffalo. Sims is set to become an unrestricted free agent, and his appeal to teams will likely be centered on his role in the return game.
Nelson Agholor
Nelson Agholor Struggles to produce in 10th season
Fri, Feb 14, 2025, 9:21 PM
Agholor totaled 14 catches on 29 targets for 231 yards and two touchdowns over 14 regular-season games in 2024.
Analysis: Agholor's reception and yardage totals were the lowest of his NFL career. Last season also marked the first time he's caught fewer than half of his targets. Agholor did see the field plenty during Baltimore's wild-card round loss to Buffalo, logging 46 percent of Baltimore's offensive snaps, but he drew only one target (which he didn't catch). Agholor is set to be a free agent upon the beginning of the new league year in March.
Patrick Ricard
Patrick Ricard Tallies three touches in 2024
Fri, Feb 14, 2025, 9:00 PM
Ricard recorded three catches on five targets for 22 yards and a touchdown over 17 regular-season games in 2024. He did not log any carries.
Analysis: For the third straight season, Ricard played in all 17 of Baltimore's regular-season contests. He also ended without a carry for the second consecutive campaign, and his three receptions were his fewest since 2018. Ricard is set to become an unrestricted free agent, but Ravens GM Eric DeCosta has indicated a desire to re-sign the veteran fullback, per Ryan Mink of the team's official site.
Josh Johnson
Josh Johnson Throws three passes in 2024
Fri, Feb 14, 2025, 8:43 PM
Johnson played in six regular-season games in 2024, completing two of three passes for 17 yards while netting one yard on four carries.
Analysis: All of Johnson's work came in brief appearances in relief of Lamar Jackson, as he didn't log more than 10 offensive snaps in any game. The veteran signal-caller did see his most work since 2021, but that doesn't change his outlook as a career backup. Johnson is set to become a free agent, and there's been some speculation that he could elect to hang up his cleats.
Derrick Henry
Derrick Henry Wants to finish career in Baltimore
Fri, Feb 14, 2025, 8:38 AM
Henry said last week that he wants to finish his career with the Ravens, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Ravens coach John Harbaugh has already mentioned Henry as a candidate for an extension, after the 31-year-old ran for 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns in 17 regular-season games during the first year of a two-year, $16 million contract. The two sides likely will discuss a deal that lowers Henry's 2025 cap hit ($12.895 million) without reducing his real-money compensation. He's currently scheduled for a non-guaranteed $6 million base salary and a $1 million roster bonus (due on the fifth day of the 2025 league year), plus $2.5 million available via incentives ($2 million of which he earned in 2024).
Anthony Miller
Anthony Miller Remaining in Baltimore
Wed, Jan 22, 2025, 5:36 PM
The Ravens signed Miller to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Miller spent the entire 2024 campaign on the Ravens' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. It wasn't until Week 16 against the Steelers when Miller was elevated to the Ravens' active roster, and he ended up playing in four of Baltimore's last five games (including its two playoff games). He caught all five of his targets for 45 yards across those four outings and provided crucial depth at wide receiver due to injuries to Nelson Agholor and Zay Flowers (knee). By signing a futures contract, Miller will be on the Ravens' 90-man roster for OTAs, minicamp and training camp and will work to earn a spot on the active roster for 2025 campaign.
Deonte Harty
Deonte Harty Ends 2024 on IR
Wed, Jan 22, 2025, 10:55 AM
Harty (knee) wasn't activated from injured reserve ahead of Baltimore's 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday.
Analysis: Harty was initially listed as questionable to suit up for the divisional round, but despite logging five straight full practices, he was kept on IR for Baltimore's season-ending loss. He appeared in five regular-season games with the Ravens, going without a target in the passing game but returning eight punts for 85 yards and four kickoffs for 98 yards. The 27-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Derrick Henry
Derrick Henry Potential extension candidate
Wed, Jan 22, 2025, 10:43 AM
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday that the team will "look at" potentially extending Henry this offseason, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Analysis: Henry is currently heading into the final season of the two-year, $16 million contract he inked with Baltimore after departing Tennessee as a free agent last offseason. The Ravens are now incentivized to restructure the deal -- which carries a potential 'out' for $3.9 million in dead cap -- and it's no surprise that the team would prefer to do so in the form of an extension beyond the 2025 season. Henry is coming off a phenomenal inaugural campaign in purple and black, having compiled 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on a career-high 5.9 yards per carry across 17 games, in addition to a 19-193-2 receiving line. The 31-year-old was also productive in the Ravens' two playoff games, carrying 42 times for 270 yards and three touchdowns. Henry hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, and as long as he's playing at an elite level, he'll remain an ideal complement in the backfield to dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Malik Cunningham
Malik Cunningham Staying in Baltimore
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 6:34 PM
The Ravens signed Cunningham to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Analysis: Cunningham spent the entire 2024 season on the Ravens' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, though he wasn't elevated for a single game. The quarterback turned wideout out of Louisville will be on Baltimore's 90-man roster at the start of the new league year, and he'll have the opportunity to work with the Ravens' coaching staff during OTAs and minicamp and look to earn a spot on the roster for the 2025 campaign.
Tylan Wallace
Tylan Wallace Best season of career
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 3:37 PM
Wallace finished the regular season with 11 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets. He added two catches for 48 yards in the postseason.
Analysis: The fourth-year wideout entered the year with seven catches for 67 yards on 15 combined targets in his first three seasons. Wallace far outperformed that in a single season, catching 92 percent of his targets at a 16.1 YPT clip. His 84-yard touchdown catch against the Bengals was one of the highlights of his career and of the Ravens' season. He will hit free agency this offseason and it's unclear whether the Ravens will bring him back even with Wallace coming off his best season to date.
Zay Flowers
Zay Flowers Breaks 1,000-yard mark in Year 2
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 2:25 PM
Flowers finished the season with 74 catches for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns. He suffered a knee injury in Week 18 against the Browns that sidelined him for the Ravens' postseason run.
Analysis: The second-year man took a step forward after a promising debut. He had three fewer catches than he did as a rookie but totaled 200 more receiving yards in spite of that. Flowers' 19 catches of 20 or more yards tied for fourth among receivers this season and his 6.3 YAC average ranked in the 85th percentile at his position. His five 100-yard games also tied for first in the NFL. Flowers is now established as the No.1 option in Baltimore's passing game and has shown that he can be an upper-echelon fantasy producer even in an offense that had the second-fewest pass attempts in the NFL.
Justice Hill
Justice Hill Solid season from scrimmage
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 1:58 PM
Hill finished the season with 47 carries for 228 yards and a touchdown while adding 42 catches for 383 yards and three touchdowns on 51 targets.
Analysis: The veteran was a valuable second option in the Baltimore backfield behind Derrick Henry this season with four combined touchdowns and new carer highs across the board as a pass-catcher. Hill's 42 receptions ranked 15th among running backs and his 383 receiving yards ranked 11th at his position as well. He also provided some tough running in Baltimore's playoff loss to Buffalo with 50 yards on six attempts. Hill inked a two-year extension in September 2024 and projects to be back with his $2.4M cap hit in 2025. It will be interesting to see how Hill's role changes, if at all, with Keaton Mitchell back to full speed after missing much of the season recovering from a knee injury that ended his 2023 campaign.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Stellar showing in playoff defeat
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 9:35 PM
Likely brought in four of five targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday.
Analysis: Likely led the Ravens in receiving yards on the evening while delivering a spectacular diving touchdown reception with 1:33 remaining to bring Baltimore within a two-point conversion of tying the Bills and likely forcing overtime. Prior to that, the third-year pro posted 39- and five-yard grabs on the Ravens' opening possession to help set up the first touchdown of the game. Likely recorded 126 receiving yards over Baltimore's two-week postseason run following a regular season during which he generated a career-best 42-477-6 line on 58 targets across 16 games. Likely is due to play out the final year of his rookie contract in 2025, but the combination of his ascension this past season and Mark Andrews' age should result in the former receiving an offer for an extension this offseason.
Mark Andrews
Mark Andrews Key mistakes in playoff loss
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 9:25 PM
Andrews secured five of seven targets for 61 yards and lost a fumble in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday. He also rushed twice for three yards.
Analysis: In a literal sense, the Ravens' latest playoff exit can essentially be pinned on Andrews, whose fumble at the Bills' 44-yard line with 8:50 remaining following a 16-yard reception helped set up a key Buffalo field goal. However, Baltimore battled back and was in position to tie the game at 27-27 following a 24-yard-touchdown reception by Isaiah Likely with 1:33 left, but Andrews dropped a catchable two-point conversion pass from Lamar Jackson to end the Ravens' hopes. The veteran tight end otherwise had a solid game in which he logged team-high figures in receptions and targets, and he also recorded a career-high 11 touchdown grabs on a 55-673 receiving line over 17 regular-season contests while playing out the penultimate campaign of a four-year, $56 million contract.
