Anthony Miller
Anthony Miller Remaining in Baltimore
Wed, Jan 22, 2025, 5:36 PM
The Ravens signed Miller to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Miller spent the entire 2024 campaign on the Ravens' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the conclusion of training camp. It wasn't until Week 16 against the Steelers when Miller was elevated to the Ravens' active roster, and he ended up playing in four of Baltimore's last five games (including its two playoff games). He caught all five of his targets for 45 yards across those four outings and provided crucial depth at wide receiver due to injuries to Nelson Agholor and Zay Flowers (knee). By signing a futures contract, Miller will be on the Ravens' 90-man roster for OTAs, minicamp and training camp and will work to earn a spot on the active roster for 2025 campaign.
Deonte Harty
Deonte Harty Ends 2024 on IR
Wed, Jan 22, 2025, 10:55 AM
Harty (knee) wasn't activated from injured reserve ahead of Baltimore's 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday.
Analysis: Harty was initially listed as questionable to suit up for the divisional round, but despite logging five straight full practices, he was kept on IR for Baltimore's season-ending loss. He appeared in five regular-season games with the Ravens, going without a target in the passing game but returning eight punts for 85 yards and four kickoffs for 98 yards. The 27-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Derrick Henry
Derrick Henry Potential extension candidate
Wed, Jan 22, 2025, 10:43 AM
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Tuesday that the team will "look at" potentially extending Henry this offseason, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Analysis: Henry is currently heading into the final season of the two-year, $16 million contract he inked with Baltimore after departing Tennessee as a free agent last offseason. The Ravens are now incentivized to restructure the deal -- which carries a potential 'out' for $3.9 million in dead cap -- and it's no surprise that the team would prefer to do so in the form of an extension beyond the 2025 season. Henry is coming off a phenomenal inaugural campaign in purple and black, having compiled 1,921 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns on a career-high 5.9 yards per carry across 17 games, in addition to a 19-193-2 receiving line. The 31-year-old was also productive in the Ravens' two playoff games, carrying 42 times for 270 yards and three touchdowns. Henry hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, and as long as he's playing at an elite level, he'll remain an ideal complement in the backfield to dual-threat quarterback Lamar Jackson.
Malik Cunningham
Malik Cunningham Staying in Baltimore
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 6:34 PM
The Ravens signed Cunningham to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Analysis: Cunningham spent the entire 2024 season on the Ravens' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp, though he wasn't elevated for a single game. The quarterback turned wideout out of Louisville will be on Baltimore's 90-man roster at the start of the new league year, and he'll have the opportunity to work with the Ravens' coaching staff during OTAs and minicamp and look to earn a spot on the roster for the 2025 campaign.
Tylan Wallace
Tylan Wallace Best season of career
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 3:37 PM
Wallace finished the regular season with 11 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown on 12 targets. He added two catches for 48 yards in the postseason.
Analysis: The fourth-year wideout entered the year with seven catches for 67 yards on 15 combined targets in his first three seasons. Wallace far outperformed that in a single season, catching 92 percent of his targets at a 16.1 YPT clip. His 84-yard touchdown catch against the Bengals was one of the highlights of his career and of the Ravens' season. He will hit free agency this offseason and it's unclear whether the Ravens will bring him back even with Wallace coming off his best season to date.
Zay Flowers
Zay Flowers Breaks 1,000-yard mark in Year 2
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 2:25 PM
Flowers finished the season with 74 catches for 1,059 yards and four touchdowns. He suffered a knee injury in Week 18 against the Browns that sidelined him for the Ravens' postseason run.
Analysis: The second-year man took a step forward after a promising debut. He had three fewer catches than he did as a rookie but totaled 200 more receiving yards in spite of that. Flowers' 19 catches of 20 or more yards tied for fourth among receivers this season and his 6.3 YAC average ranked in the 85th percentile at his position. His five 100-yard games also tied for first in the NFL. Flowers is now established as the No.1 option in Baltimore's passing game and has shown that he can be an upper-echelon fantasy producer even in an offense that had the second-fewest pass attempts in the NFL.
Justice Hill
Justice Hill Solid season from scrimmage
Tue, Jan 21, 2025, 1:58 PM
Hill finished the season with 47 carries for 228 yards and a touchdown while adding 42 catches for 383 yards and three touchdowns on 51 targets.
Analysis: The veteran was a valuable second option in the Baltimore backfield behind Derrick Henry this season with four combined touchdowns and new carer highs across the board as a pass-catcher. Hill's 42 receptions ranked 15th among running backs and his 383 receiving yards ranked 11th at his position as well. He also provided some tough running in Baltimore's playoff loss to Buffalo with 50 yards on six attempts. Hill inked a two-year extension in September 2024 and projects to be back with his $2.4M cap hit in 2025. It will be interesting to see how Hill's role changes, if at all, with Keaton Mitchell back to full speed after missing much of the season recovering from a knee injury that ended his 2023 campaign.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Stellar showing in playoff defeat
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 9:35 PM
Likely brought in four of five targets for 73 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday.
Analysis: Likely led the Ravens in receiving yards on the evening while delivering a spectacular diving touchdown reception with 1:33 remaining to bring Baltimore within a two-point conversion of tying the Bills and likely forcing overtime. Prior to that, the third-year pro posted 39- and five-yard grabs on the Ravens' opening possession to help set up the first touchdown of the game. Likely recorded 126 receiving yards over Baltimore's two-week postseason run following a regular season during which he generated a career-best 42-477-6 line on 58 targets across 16 games. Likely is due to play out the final year of his rookie contract in 2025, but the combination of his ascension this past season and Mark Andrews' age should result in the former receiving an offer for an extension this offseason.
Mark Andrews
Mark Andrews Key mistakes in playoff loss
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 9:25 PM
Andrews secured five of seven targets for 61 yards and lost a fumble in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday. He also rushed twice for three yards.
Analysis: In a literal sense, the Ravens' latest playoff exit can essentially be pinned on Andrews, whose fumble at the Bills' 44-yard line with 8:50 remaining following a 16-yard reception helped set up a key Buffalo field goal. However, Baltimore battled back and was in position to tie the game at 27-27 following a 24-yard-touchdown reception by Isaiah Likely with 1:33 left, but Andrews dropped a catchable two-point conversion pass from Lamar Jackson to end the Ravens' hopes. The veteran tight end otherwise had a solid game in which he logged team-high figures in receptions and targets, and he also recorded a career-high 11 touchdown grabs on a 55-673 receiving line over 17 regular-season contests while playing out the penultimate campaign of a four-year, $56 million contract.
Rashod Bateman
Rashod Bateman Impressive effort in playoff loss
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 9:17 PM
Bateman secured four of five targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday.
Analysis: Bateman operated as the No. 1 receiver for the second time in as many playoff games due to Zay Flowers (knee) remaining sidelined. He kicked off the scoring on the evening with a 16-yard touchdown grab to cap off the game's opening possession, and he followed it up with a 42-yard catch with just over six minutes remaining in the first half that brought the ball down to the Bills' two-yard line. Bateman ultimately finished tied for second on Baltimore in both receptions and targets with Isaiah Likely while also checking in as the runner-up in receiving yards behind his teammate. Bateman appeared to exit the game for good with an undisclosed injury after making a three-yard catch with 2:47 on the clock and remaining down for a short time thereafter, marking an anticlimactic ending to a playoff run that followed a regular season during which he produced career highs in receiving yards (756) and touchdowns (nine) on the second-highest catch total of his career (45) across 17 games. Bateman is signed through the 2026 season.
Derrick Henry
Derrick Henry Solid showing in season-ending loss
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 9:07 PM
Henry rushed 16 times for 84 yards and a touchdown and failed to secure either of his two targets in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday.
Analysis: Henry's opportunities were somewhat capped by a game script that saw the Ravens trail from the 8:52 mark of the second quarter on. The bruising back still managed to rattle off several chunk gains throughout the evening, and he punched in a five-yard touchdown run with 1:37 remaining in the third quarter to bring Baltimore to within two points for the first of two occasions in the second half. Henry proved a seamless fit in the first year of a two-year, $16 million contract with the Ravens, rushing for 1,921 yards -- the second-highest total of his career -- and 16 touchdowns at a career-high 5.9 yards per carry, numbers he complemented with a 19-193-2 receiving line across 17 regular-season games.
Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson Comes up short in playoff loss
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 9:02 PM
Jackson completed 18 of 25 passes for 254 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and rushed six times for 39 yards in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
Analysis: Jackson's afternoon started off swimmingly with an eight-play, 73-yard march the star signal-caller capped off with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Rashod Bateman. However, Jackson badly overthrew Bateman under pressure on the next possession and then lost a fumble on a sack by Damar Hamlin to short-circuit Baltimore's third drive. The latter turnover helped lead to a Bills touchdown four plays later, but Lamar was able to battle back in the second half and threw his second touchdown pass of the evening on a dynamic play where he bought time with his legs before delivering a 24-yard strike to Isaiah Likely to bring the Ravens to within two. Jackson then threw a very catchable pass to Mark Andrews for the would-be game-tying two-point conversion, but the veteran tight end failed to hang on and essentially sealed the loss with his drop. The narrow defeat came in the wake of another MVP-caliber season for the 2018 first-round pick, who completed 316 of 474 passes for a career-high 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns across 17 regular-season games. Jackson tossed only four interceptions as well and added 915 rushing yards and four scores on the ground, and he'll head into 2025 set to play out the third year of the five-year, $260 million extension he signed prior to the 2023 campaign.
Charlie Kolar
Charlie Kolar Questionable to return Sunday
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 8:17 PM
Kolar (arm) is questionable to return to Sunday's AFC divisional-round game against the Bills, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Kolar suffered an arm injury in the second half, forcing him to exit the game. His absence doesn't carry much of an impact on offense and Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely continue to operate as the team's top options at tight end.
Rasheen Ali
Rasheen Ali Won't play in divisional round
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 4:31 PM
Ali (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's divisional-round contest versus the Bills.
Analysis: Ali was also inactive for last week's wild-card win against the Steelers, and it looks like the Ravens will once again roll with the three-man backfield of Derrick Henry, Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchell in the divisional round. Ali, a rookie fifth-round pick out of Marshall, hasn't seen much playing time this season, recording 10 carries for 31 yards across six regular-season appearances.
Zay Flowers
Zay Flowers Inactive versus Bills
Sun, Jan 19, 2025, 4:17 PM
Flowers (knee) is inactive for Sunday's divisional-round game against the Bills.
Analysis: Since injuring his right knee during Week 18 action Flowers hasn't practiced, with the wideout having approached Sunday's postseason contest officially listed as doubtful. In his second consecutive absence, Nelson Agholor and Tylan Wallace are in a position to see added opportunities behind top healthy wideout Rashod Bateman, while TEs Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, along with RB Justice Hill, should continue to maintain relevance in Baltimore's passing game.
Anthony Miller
Anthony Miller Gets another elevation
Sat, Jan 18, 2025, 3:27 PM
Miller was elevated from the Ravens' practice squad to their active roster Saturday.
Analysis: Miller was also elevated for last Saturday's wild-card win over Pittsburgh, and he caught all three of his targets for 12 yards over nine offensive snaps. He could see a similar workload Sunday versus Buffalo in the AFC divisional round, as the Ravens are likely to look for production from a variety of receivers due to top wideout Zay Flowers being doubtful to suit up due to a knee injury. In addition to the wild-card round, Miller played in two games during the regular season and caught his lone target for 16 yards.
Deonte Harty
Deonte Harty Questionable after full practice
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 2:39 PM
Harty (knee) practiced in full Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's road divisional-round game against the Bills.
Analysis: Harty officially remains on IR, but he's strung together five consecutive full practices, and he's seemingly healthy enough to contribute if brought back to the 53-man roster. With Zay Flowers (knee) officially listed as doubtful for Sunday's game, Baltimore could benefit from Harty's presence as an additional depth option at wide receiver, even if his greatest contributions figure to come in the return game. Harty will need to be activated from IR by Saturday in order to be eligible for Sunday's contest.
Zay Flowers
Zay Flowers Officially listed as doubtful
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 2:33 PM
Flowers (knee) did not practice Friday and officially is listed as doubtful for Sunday's divisional-round matchup at Buffalo.
Analysis: Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Friday that Flowers will "have a chance" to play in the AFC divisional round, per Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore, but given that the second-year pro hasn't handled any practice reps since injuring his right knee Week 18, his odds of being available may be slim. Official word on Flowers' status will arrive no later than 90 minutes prior to Sunday's 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff. If Flowers can't go, Rashod Bateman again will be called upon to lead Baltimore's wide receiver corps, with Nelson Agholor, Tylan Wallace and Steven Sims stepping into larger roles behind him.
Zay Flowers
Zay Flowers Not spotted at Friday's practice
Fri, Jan 17, 2025, 11:17 AM
Flowers (knee) is not participating in the portion of Friday's practice open to the media, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Flowers did appear to be finishing up a separate workout prior to the start of Friday's session, per Giana Han of TheBaltimoreBanner.com, and he still was spotted wearing a right knee brace. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that Flowers is trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's divisional-round road game against Buffalo, so his status will need to be closely monitored. If the Ravens leave the door open for Flowers to play, his status could come down to the wire as Sunday's 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff approaches.
Zay Flowers
Zay Flowers No practice Thursday
Thu, Jan 16, 2025, 1:19 PM
Flowers (knee) didn't practice Thursday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Flowers injured his right knee in the Ravens' regular-season finale against the Browns on Jan. 4 and hasn't been able to handle any on-field work in the interim. He thus has one more chance to practice this week before the team potentially makes a ruling on his status for Sunday's divisional-round game at Buffalo. If Flowers remains sidelined this weekend, the likes of Nelson Agholor, Tylan Wallace and Steven Sims will be candidates for snaps and targets behind Rashod Bateman.
