Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Still not practicing
Fri, Sep 5, 2025, 11:17 AM
Likely (foot) isn't practicing Friday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Analysis: That said, Shaffer notes that Likely appears to be ramping things up, with the tight end spotted doing some on-field work Friday with trainers that included light running, but not much hard cutting. Look for Likely to be ruled out for Week 1 action later Friday, but in that scenario the tight end's absence may not linger too long beyond the Ravens' regular-season opener against the Bills.
Patrick Ricard
Patrick Ricard Hasn't practiced since mid-August
Thu, Sep 4, 2025, 1:25 PM
Ricard (calf) isn't practicing Thursday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Ricard hasn't practiced since Aug. 14. The five-time Pro Bowl fullback is unlikely to recover in time to play against the Bills in Week 1 on Sunday Night Football.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Sitting out another practice
Thu, Sep 4, 2025, 1:18 PM
Likely (foot) isn't participating in Thursday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Likely hasn't been able to practice in any fashion since undergoing surgery on his left foot Aug. 1, and while the Ravens have yet to officially rule him out for Week 1, the 25-year-old looks like a longshot to be available. With Likely expected to be inactive for Sunday's season opener in Buffalo, Charlie Kolar should be in line to see an enhanced role behind No. 1 tight end Mark Andrews.
DeAndre Hopkins
DeAndre Hopkins Good to go for Week 1
Wed, Sep 3, 2025, 3:52 PM
Hopkins (knee) isn't on the Week 1 injury report.
Analysis: Hopkins missed a bit of practice time here and there but was mostly available for training camp. He'll likely just be the No. 3 receiver for Sunday's game at Buffalo, although the role could entail far more snaps than is typical for Baltimore's offense, depending on the health of TE Isaiah Likely (ankle) and FB Patrick Ricard (calf). Likely isn't expected to play, while Ricard's availability is unknown.
Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson Not on injury report
Wed, Sep 3, 2025, 3:49 PM
Jackson (foot) isn't on the Week 1 injury report.
Analysis: As expected, after Jackson was mostly healthy throughout the offseason and training camp, with his lone interruption being a minor foot injury in late August. He was merely stepped on, and returned to practice a few days later, giving him two full weeks to get ready for Sunday's revenge matchup at Buffalo. The official injury report confirms Jackson is at full strength heading into the regular season.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Misses another practice
Wed, Sep 3, 2025, 1:14 PM
Likely (foot) is not practicing Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Likely has yet to resume practicing since undergoing surgery to address a small fracture in his left foot suffered late July, and though the Ravens still anticipate him returning early in the season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that he isn't expected to suit up Sunday night on the road against Buffalo. Still, Baltimore's decision not to place Likely on short-term IR, which would rule him out the first four games of the year, is a strong indication that he remains on track to return in September. For at least Week 1, however, Charlie Kolar projects to work as the No. 2 tight end behind Mark Andrews.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Still expected to return early
Wed, Sep 3, 2025, 8:21 AM
Likely (foot) is not expected to suit up for his targeted return date of Week 1 on the road against Buffalo on Sunday, but his recovery is proceeding on track and the Ravens still expect him to be available early in the regular season, Jeremy Brener of SI.com reports.
Analysis: Likely dodged IR to begin the regular season, confirming that Baltimore expects him to miss less than four games before he retakes the field. For at least Week 1, though, Mark Andrews appears in line to handle increased reps as the Ravens' clear top tight end, while Charlie Kolar steps into an expanded backup role. New No. 3 receiver DeAndre Hopkins will also figure to benefit from a slight uptick in target opportunities as long as Likely remains sidelined. Likely didn't practice Monday, but if he can return as at least a limited participant ahead of Sunday's regular-season opener, suiting up Week 2 against the Browns may be in play.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Not expected to play Sunday
Wed, Sep 3, 2025, 8:10 AM
Likely (foot) is not expected to suit up for Sunday's regular-season opener on the road against Buffalo, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Analysis: Likely, who is recovering from surgery undergone in late July to address a small fracture in his left foot, was a non-participant at Monday's practice and does not appear on track to play Week 1. His official injury designation for Week 1 will be disclosed Friday, but at this stage it won't be surprising if he sits out Wednesday's practice as well.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Not practicing Monday
Mon, Sep 1, 2025, 3:01 PM
Likely (foot) didn't participate in Monday's practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Hensley previously noted that GM Eric DeCosta said that the Ravens expect Likely -- who suffered a small fracture in his foot in late July -- "back in the early part of the season." It remains to be seen whether a Week 1 return could be in play, but added context regarding Likely's status will be provided no later than Wednesday, when Baltimore's first official practice/injury report of the season is posted.
Patrick Ricard
Patrick Ricard Not practicing Monday
Mon, Sep 1, 2025, 2:56 PM
Ricard (undisclosed) isn't practicing Monday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: A soft-tissue injury has kept Ricard out of practice since Aug. 14, though he was initially expected to return to the field this week. His lack of practice Monday is concerning, but he'll get additional opportunities to return to the field ahead of Baltimore's regular-season opener Sunday against Buffalo.
Mark Andrews
Mark Andrews Back at practice Wednesday
Wed, Aug 27, 2025, 2:31 PM
Andrews (undisclosed) is participating in Wednesday's practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: Andrews didn't practice Monday, but if he was dealing with any sort of injury, it appears it was only minor. Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said Wednesday that he expects Likely (foot) to be "back in the early part of the season," per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com, but it remains to be seen whether Likely will be a candidate to return in time to suit up Week 1 versus the Bills. If Likely misses any regular-season games, Andrews will figure to see an uptick in targets and snaps while Charlie Kolar steps into the No. 2 tight end role.
Isaiah Likely
Isaiah Likely Expected back early in season
Wed, Aug 27, 2025, 11:34 AM
Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta said Wednesday that he expects Likely (foot) "back in the early part of the season," Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: DeCosta specifically mentioned that Baltimore's decision not to place Likely on IR during roster cuts Tuesday is indicative of the team's expectations that he'll miss less than the requisite four games such a transaction would require. It remains to be seen, though, whether Likely has a chance to suit up Week 1 against Buffalo as he works his way back from surgery undergone in late July to address a fracture in his left foot. Baltimore's pass-catchers across the board could see a slight uptick in targets if Likely misses any time, with the primary beneficiaries being starting tight end Mark Andrews and No. 3 man Charlie Kolar, as well as No. 3 wideout DeAndre Hopkins.

Isaiah Likely Dodges IR to start year
Tue, Aug 26, 2025, 6:57 PM
The Ravens didn't place Likely (foot) on injured reserve Tuesday, keeping him eligible for the first four weeks of the season, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports.
Analysis: Likely hasn't practiced since late July and is considered uncertain for Week 1 after summer surgery, but he apparently has a shot to be ready at some point in September even if he's not cleared for the season opener at Buffalo. An absence could free up more targets and snaps for a slew of teammates, including TEs Mark Andrew and Charlie Kolar and No. 3 receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
Mark Andrews
Mark Andrews Misses practice Monday
Mon, Aug 25, 2025, 6:01 PM
Andrews (undisclosed) missed practice Monday, Clifton Brown of the Ravens' official site reports.
Analysis: While coach John Harbaugh didn't specify why Andrews was sidelined Monday, he noted that the tight end is expected to work next week, when the Ravens begin their practice preparations ahead of Week 1. With that in mind, Andrews' status now is worth monitoring, along with that of fellow TE Isaiah Likely, who continues to deal with a foot injury that leaves his status for the regular-season opener uncertain.
Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson Back at practice Monday
Mon, Aug 25, 2025, 12:25 PM
Jackson (foot) returned to practice Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Analysis: The star QB left last Wednesday's practice early because a teammate stepped on his foot, and since then the team has downplayed the issue. Jackson's presence at Monday's practice should ease any lingering concerns on that front, though it's unclear if he'll be deemed a full participant Monday.
Derrick Henry
Derrick Henry Rested for entire preseason
Sat, Aug 23, 2025, 2:24 PM
Henry didn't play at all during the preseason, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.
Analysis: Neither did Lamar Jackson, Justice Hill, Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman or Mark Andrews, among others. Henry didn't miss any time with injuries during spring practices or training camp, seemingly still going strong at age 31. His next game will be in the same location as his last one, with the Ravens heading to Buffalo in Week 1 after losing there in the second round of the playoffs. Henry took 16 carries for 84 yards and a touchdown in the loss, unable to approach his season-high total of 199 rushing yards from Baltimore's Week 4 home win over Buffalo.
Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson Should practice Monday
Sat, Aug 23, 2025, 2:11 PM
Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Saturday that Jackson (foot) should resume practicing Monday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Harbaugh joked that the QB is on track to return but will only participate if he wants to. Either way, it's the latest sign Jackson avoided a serious injury after a teammate stepped on his foot Wednesday. He didn't practice Thursday but should be back early this week as Baltimore transitions from the preseason to preparing for a Week 1 road game at Buffalo.
Rasheen Ali
Rasheen Ali Scores TD on opening drive
Sat, Aug 23, 2025, 2:04 PM
Ali took nine carries for 36 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 30-3 preseason win over Washington.
Analysis: The 2024 fifth-round pick solidified his argument for the No. 4 RB role, starting the final preseason game and hitting paydirt from nine yards out on the opening drive. D'Ernest Johnson also got snaps on the first drive and then scored a TD on the second series, but Ali remains the favorite to stick around for one of Baltimore's final few roster spots. Fellow RBs Derrick Henry, Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchell were among the dozens of Ravens rested Saturday, with coach John Harbaugh mostly using the game to evaluate the bottom of his roster. Harbaugh said in mid-August that the Ravens intend to keep a fourth RB (presumably Ali) on their initial regular-season roster.
Patrick Ricard
Patrick Ricard Expected to return after preseason
Thu, Aug 21, 2025, 1:24 PM
Ricard (undisclosed) didn't practice this week due to a soft-tissue injury but is expected to resume practicing the week after the preseason concludes, Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner reports.
Analysis: Ricard won't play in Saturday's preseason finale against the Commanders, but the fullback will then have two weeks to get up to speed before the Ravens begin regular-season play Sept. 7 against the Bills. He was named to the Pro Bowl for the fifth time in his career in 2024.
Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson Foot issue downplayed by coach
Thu, Aug 21, 2025, 12:33 PM
Coach John Harbaugh confirmed Thursday that Jackson is "fine" after an X-ray on the QB's foot revealed no damage, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Analysis: Jackson, who left Wednesday's practice early because a teammate stepped on his foot, was held out of Thursday's session because his foot is sore, but at this stage the issue isn't viewed as a concern by Harbaugh. Chances are, Jackson will be held out of Saturday's preseason finale against the Commanders, and if that's the case, he'll turn his focus toward preparing for the Ravens' Sept. 7 regular-season opener against the Bills.
